This tasty threesome comprises a trio of bean brilliance: one that will introduce you to the day, another for that midday boost and then just because you can’t get enough, a gentle wind-down for the evening. This is a great way to make sure all of your coffee needs are covered!
First thing: Espresso Yourself. One of our favourites. Our house espresso is a modern take on a classic. It’s a blend of two distinctive coffees, which combine to produce an espresso with a deep, rich chocolatey body, pronounced toffee sweetness, a complex fruity edge, and a hint of bittersweet cocoa at the finish. It’s well balanced and combines beautifully with milk, where it adds punchy caramel, smooth milk chocolate notes and gets even sweeter.
Next up: Anything you can brew, I can brew better from El Salvador, small in size (the smallest country in Central America) but big in quality. We’ve drunk plenty of El Salvador coffees in the past, but this is only the second we’ve found that we want to share with you, and it’s a cracker. It works in all brew methods, but really shines in espresso and in milk drinks, where the jammy-ness and chocolate make for a rich, indulgent flat white or cappuccino.
And to finish: (I can’t get no) caffeination from Colombia. The clue as to why we’ve chosen this for the evening is in the name: yes, it’s a decaf! Not an obvious one, though – it’s quite hard to tell. It’s also rich, sticky and gooey in flavour – lovely and comforting – and combines perfectly with milk. Just the thing to ease you into la la land…
