Easy going, super drinkable and the perfect balance between fruit and chocolate. A blend of two coffees that are new to the neighbourhood, the result is milk chocolate, fudge, forest fruits – and pure delight!
If you’re looking for something that’s a step up from Espresso Yourself, but not quite as out-there as You’ve Got a Blend in Me – West Blend Girls is your gal. Easy going, super drinkable and the perfect balance between fruit and chocolate. We get milk chocolate, fudge, forest fruits – and pure delight!
West Blend Girls is a blend of coffees from two communities. The first is a fully washed coffee from Fazenda Arco Verde in the Barra do Choça (which translates to chocolate bar!) region of Brazil. Owned and managed by Marcelo Moura de Silva, the Fazenda Arco Verde produces truly delicious coffee, despite the region being mainly known for it’s coconut plantations. Marcelo’s staff follow a social and environmental policy and continuously work on improving the biodiversity of the land.
The second is a honey processed coffee from the Café Tuxpal Estates in San Juan Opico, El Salvador. In the west of the country is an active volcano called Ilamatepec, which provides the estate with a rich and fertile soil and micro-climate well suited to coffee growing.
West Blend Girls is designed for espresso. More fruit forward than our house blend, but just as balanced, easy-drinking and accessible. When enjoyed as espresso, West Blend Girls ls is packed with forest fruits and fudge. Add some steamed milk and we get Black Forest Gateaux with lashings of whipped cream.
