Grown by third generation coffee farmer from Quindio, Jairo Arcila. With over 40 years experience as a mill manager for one of Colombia’s largest coffee exporters, buying his first farm in 1987 and has produced his own coffee ever since, in addition to working full time. Jairo now has five additional farms, providing jobs and generating economic impact to those within the community, showcasing fantastic coffees with amazing profiles from across the region.
A show stopping coffee varietal, Sidra Bourbon is a hybrid of bourbon and typica. Its sweet and bright profile is characteristic of this unique variety. Harvested to strict ripeness criteria, floated then hand-sorted for pure perfection. Cherries undergo a 30 hour underwater fermentation before being pulped, gently washed and dried in meticulously controlled conditions.
