We’ve had to increase the free shipping threshold from £15 to £20 on our online shop. We’re finding that with the increased costs of well… everything… that we simply can’t offer it at this level at the moment. We’d love to be able to, but we’re not Amazon or other similar sized companies, with vast delivery purchasing power, we’re a small group of specialty coffee aficionados trying to be the best we can.
We thought about reducing the quality of the free shipping service from Tracked 48 to Untracked 48, but we know it’s always good to be able to track parcels as they wing their way towards you, as we like this ourselves when we purchase online. We think the £20 threshold is still super-competitive compared to many roasters across the UK.
