Mexican Coffee Beans

Mexican Coffee Beans

Mexican coffee beans are of excellent quality with a wonderfully delicate flavour. With a light body and gentle sweetness, they are both fruity and acidic and sometimes have a hint of chocolate or nuttiness. Coffee beans from Mexico can also have a natural spiciness with a hint of clove and cinnamon for a pleasant and complex aftertaste.

Most Mexican coffee beans are typically grown in four coffee-growing regions in the southern part of the country: Chiapas, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Puebla. The highest quality coffee beans are often grown close to the border between Mexico and Guatemala in the Chiapas region. The mountain ranges in this popular coffee-producing region provide the perfect climate for growing coffee beans in Mexico. With average temperatures of 60 and 70 °F and yearly rainfall of around 200 inches, Chiapas has the perfect tropical climate for Mexico’s coffee production.

Our Mexican coffee beans arrive as green coffee and are roasted at our Liverpool HQ into a delightful light to medium roast. We only roast Arabica coffee beans because they’re the best, so you won’t find any Robusta or dark roast coffee beans at Neighbourhood Coffee. You can either buy Mexican coffee beans as whole beans or ground coffee and we can grind it to suit your brewing method.

So, why not check out our range of Mexican coffee beans and buy yours now?
