THIS IS PERFECT FOR:
Any time – it’s a great all-rounder!
This is a bonus offering from Guatemala (we’d normally be awaiting the new crop later in the spring/summer), but the whole covid-19 situation has meant that we’ve reallocated it in our planning, so now we can offer it here. It’s also because it is really easy to drink, and super delicious!
It comes from 16 small farmers in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, which is really well known. They work with the exporter whom we work with, Primavera Coffee, which is run by our friend Nadine Rasch. Primavera work with some brilliant farmers, and send us some stunning coffee from well-established specialty producers (Finca Villaure & Finca Bella Elizabeth) but they also want to encourage others farmers to join the family, and benefit from their expertise and access to markets. Hence, this Primavera “family” lot.
These farmers are on the first steps to full-blown specialty production, and it’s not a quick process, so we’re delighted to be able to share this lot with you, whilst it lasts, and before the new crops arrive.
We don’t have loads, but it’ll work however you wish to brew it! Look for tons of milk chocolate, and then an orange zestiness, some berry sweetness, all wrapped up in creamy vanilla.
