Colombian Coffee Beans | Neighbourhood Coffee

Colombian coffee beans have a medium, silky body and a well-balanced flavour. With tropical notes, a rich taste, spicy aroma and citrus-like acidity, coffee from Colombian boasts excellent flavours. You can expect chocolate and nutty flavours as well as fruity, citrusy and herbal notes in some of the best Colombian coffee.

There are 22 coffee-growing regions across northern, central and southern Colombia. Southern Colombia produces the highest quality coffee thanks to its high altitudes, rich volcanic soils and close proximity to the equator. Popular growing regions in southern Colombia include Nariño, Huila and Cauca where the soil is well suited to growing Colombian beans. In Colombia, coffee is typically grown at 900 to 2,100 metres above sea level and when combined with the perfect climate, coffee from Colombia is some of the best in the world.

Our Colombian coffee beans arrive as green coffee and are roasted at our Liverpool HQ into a delightful light to medium roast. We only roast Arabica coffee beans because they’re the best, so you won’t find any Robusta or dark roast coffee beans at Neighbourhood Coffee. You can either buy Colombian coffee beans as whole beans or ground coffee and we can grind it to suit your brewing method.

So, why not check out our range of Colombian coffee beans and buy yours now?

Regions

Cauca is just one of the many coffee growing regions. Look out for Huila, Quindio, Nariño, Antioqua, Caldas, Tolima, and others. We have a thing for coffees from Cauca as they tend to be juicy, well-rounded, sweet and able to brewed in a variety of methods.

Relationship coffee: ARGCAFFE, Argelia

Argelia is a remote part of south-west Cauca, home to the ARGCAFFE association, which started in 2014 with only 17 member producers, all of whom were committed to finding a better market for their coffee. Through their hard work, the association has grown to over 150 members who combine their coffee. We use their coffee in our house espresso and also as a standalone single origin. It is everything a classic Colombia should be - juicy, sweet, and balanced.
