Alcoholic coffee cocktails aren’t just espresso martinis – although you can’t go wrong with such a classic.

For example…

...a hot White Russian can be made from freshly brewed filter coffee (try a smooth filter coffee like Aeropress), coffee liqueur, whipped cream, and vodka. You could use a drip method like Chemex, although the delicate flavours brought out in such a process might be lost in the rich mix of this one.

But you can always be more adventurous, with something like a Siciliano – vermouth, amaro, cold-brew coffee, syrup, sparkling water, garnished with a wheel of orange zest. The cold brew coffee in this one would suit something strong like a coarse-ground Ethiopian. Try a Love, Love Me Brew.
